This poignant film examines the lives of people who suffer from ADHD. Behavioural characteristics include severe distractibility, impulsivity and hyperactivity. Diagnosis has proved controversial as most sufferers are diagnosed when young and treatment is for life. Filmed in New Zealand, the programme shows the reality of dealing with children so difficult they can barely interact with their peers, let alone family members.

I work with kids and many of them have ADHD. One thing that puzzles me is that often kids with anger and frustration are diagnosed with ADHD even though in some cases they actually have had a rough childhood with heavy drinking parents and violent. I think they are the cases that do not benefit from the diagnose.

About the film tho.. It summarizes different points about ADHD. For example how the age effects. I enjoyed this documentary. It's not very advanced though so if you're an professional and already know quite a bit about ADHD this might then be something you alreadry know.

By the way. What is the song playing at first half of the film. The ambient/electro type of song that has repeated numbers and such? I really like it!! TELL ME!

This documentary does a good job of showing the lives of a few people with rather severe ADHD. Although there are a lot of other people with this grade of ADHD, most cases are not quite as extreme as those shown in this documentary and that might lead to people getting the wrong impression of what it is like to live with it.

Based on this, I will only give it 4/10

This was my son, without no doubt! I have never seen anybody who was quite like him, but the little boy and the girl was a true copy! My son has AD/HD and Tourettes in the worst way! I was thrilled to see this movie, now i can finally show people what we are up aganst! And i finally saw what everybody else is seing looking in to my life!
