On May 15th 1948 the British government, officially responsible for maintaining law and order in Palestine, decided to abandon the country, leaving behind a war which has led to the dispossession of over three quarter of a million Palestinian Arabs and the creation of the State of Israel. One man, an officer who witnessed those final days, goes back to recall his experiences all those years ago.

The truth is that Israel still steal land, a lot of land. About 60 % of The West Bank is out of control of the Palestinian Authorithy. 500 000 jews on occupied land; how can the "world cop" USA allow that? Had that been done by an Arabic country, US troups had been there in seconds and "cleaned up"!
