Brokeback Mountain

Brokeback Mountain is Ang Lee's award-winning film about two modern day cowboys who meet on a shepherding job in the summer of 1963. The two share a raw and powerful summer together that turns into a life long relationship conflicting with the lives they are supposed to live. The film stars Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway and Michelle Williams and depicts the complex romantic and sexual relationship between two men in the American West from 1963 to 1983. Brokeback Mountain was nominated for eight Academy Awards and won three: Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Original Score.
